Universal Adapter Plate and included hardware are used to attach the
mailboxes to the Side Support Brackets (items 5512). It can also be
used to mount a Mailbox directly to a 4 x 4 wooden post by using the
predrilled mounting holes with wood screws (not included).
Adapter
Plate: 14 gage (2.0 mm) galvanized steel finished in a durable powder
coat available in all mailbox colors. Assembly Hardware: Zinc plated
assembly bolts and nuts Universal Adapter Plate is designed to allow
the mailboxes to be mounted in the following ways:
- Onto the Side Support Brackets (items 5512) for multiple mailbox configurations.
- Onto a 4 x 4 wood post.
- Onto other commonly available posts using any appropriate combination of mounting holes.
